Monique's story has been covered by all forms of media. She has also been featured nationally on CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. The reason that her story is so compelling is that it shows how an enthusiastic, indomitable spirit can overcome ANY misfortune that life has to offer.

 

Monique only stands 24" tall due to a genetic anomaly. She was born with Dyastropic Dysplasia Dwarfism - one of the rarest forms. At birth, doctors only gave her six years to live, but Monique has been proving the doctors wrong for 28 years now. Her life has been full of obstacles, challenges, and uncertainty. While Monique could have undoubtedly been jaded by her circumstance, she chose from a young age to live an amazing life. Earning her degree in Business Administration and as a graduate of Elon University's School of Law, Monique's has acquired many life principles and tools for achieving success. She has embraced life with an open heart, an open mind and a "Can Do" spirit that knows no limits.
